In 2022, JBWS saw a shocking increase in the number of clients served in nearly every single one of our programs. There was a 98% increase in people receiving support from our adult counseling services, a 79% increase in adults and children seeking services from the Morris Family Justice Center, a 73% increase in days survivors stayed at JBWS' Emergency Safe House Shelter, and much more.
This report details how we were able to manage those increase in services, implement a wellness initiative to support both staff and survivors, and host several record breaking special events to support our survivors.
Some of our brave survivors of abuse share their stories of perseverance, hope, and how they found their strength with help from JBWS.
If you or someone you know needs help, call our 24/7 confidential helpline: 1-877-R-U-ABUSED.
