JOB DESCRIPTION

JBWS is seeking a dynamic, committed Case Manager for our Rapid Rehousing Program and Shelter.  Our ideal candidate has a proven ability to work compassionately and effectively with different clients around various needs, including domestic violence. This person would be responsible for the provision of comprehensive case management services to families including the identification and acquisition of safe, affordable housing and the development of skills to manage household budgets and finances.  In addition, support residents in our Shelter housing.  This individual will have knowledge and understanding of the experiences of marginalized communities, working collaboratively and flexibly to meet the needs of those served.

QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS include but are not limited to:

  • BA in Social Work/related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
  • Minimum of one year providing direct/case management services.
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
  • Excellent organizational, documentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be culturally aware and sensitive to challenges faced particularly in marginalized populations.
  • Candidates with 40-hour domestic violence training preferred, however candidates without training must complete 40-hours of domestic violence training upon hire provided and paid for by agency.

Schedule Requirements:

This position is full-time 35-hour per week that includes two evenings per week.
