JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dynamic, organized and detail-oriented Program Support Specialist with experience providing a high level of professional support and a proven ability to engage clients. This position assists with administrative needs for services provided by Jersey Center for Non-Violence (a program of JBWS that works with people who have engaged controlling and abusive behavior). The Program Support Specialist will complete administrative tasks including, but not limited to, collecting fees and processing payments for services, answering agency phone calls and responding to prospective clients, scheduling appointments and intakes, creating and sending monthly reports to referral sources, tracking referrals, supporting administrative and direct service staff with clerical tasks, and addressing facilities-related needs. Additionally, this position interacts with current and potential program clients to provide support and resources as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates degree and/or related education/experience.
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking, required.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with close attention to detail, required.
  • Ability to effectively and independently make decisions based on sound judgment.
  • Valid New Jersey Driver’s license.
  • Candidates with 40-hour domestic violence training certification preferred or required completion of 40-hours of domestic violence training upon hire.

 

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:

Monday through Friday, with 1-2 evenings a week.
