Want to teach sharacter education to athletes this summer? Morris County based dating abuse prevention program is seeking paid hourly (5 – 10 flexible hours/week) educators to present its Yellow Card Challenge to primarily male athletes engaged in summer recreation, club sports or high school team practices.
The Yellow Card Challenge is a proactive program designed to teach athletes to recognize the signs of dating abuse and be leaders in the effort to prevent it.
The position is ideal for individuals who desire to become coaches themselves someday. JBWS will train individuals in the program.
Working toward a college degree
Preferred field of study is education, counseling, or related
Individual must be familiar with athletic atmosphere (preferably a current college or former high school athlete themselves)
Individual must have vehicle and valid driver’s license and ability to travel various parts of Morris County

Student Internship Opportunities
JBWS utilizes between five and eight interns in several JBWS programs during the school year. In general, JBWS interns are first or second year master's level students in Social Work or Counseling. Most of the internships are for clinical positions and we sometimes have a need for administrative interns. All interns must complete a 40+ hours training program provided by JBWS. Prospective interns should work through their school internships programs.
