Bilingual Counselor - FT Master’s level (MSW or related degree) position available for a Bilingual (Spanish/English) counselor. Position includes direct service for Spanish speaking victims of domestic violence including; crisis intervention, individual and/or group counseling and case management.

Manager of Professional Training – FT; minimum 35 hours per week
To lead a successful Professional Training Program, including:
Managing the development and implementation of training for professionals on the early identification, intervention, and referral in cases of intimate partner violence;
Managing the development and implementation of the 40-hour and ongoing training for volunteers and staff;
Plan for conferences and webinars, in collaboration with other staff and community professionals;
Support the community adult education and youth prevention programs, as needed
Overall evaluation and reporting of the program
Successful candidates should have expertise in domestic violence and community resources; excellent verbal and written communication skills; effective interpersonal skills and ability to relate to various professionals and volunteers; strong administrative and curriculum development ability; good use of audio-visual technology; and a valid driver’s license. Prefer a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related.

Student Internship Opportunities
JBWS utilizes between five and eight interns in several JBWS programs during the school year. In general, JBWS interns are first or second year master's level students in Social Work or Counseling. Most of the internships are for clinical positions and we sometimes have a need for administrative interns. All interns must complete a 40+ hours training program provided by JBWS. Prospective interns should work through their school internships programs.
