Family Justice Center (FJC)  JBWS seeks coordinator to open and run client-centered Morris FJC.  Successful candidate will create service orientation, unite partners for best practice, and develop and evaluate outcome measures.  Some direct service. Excellent organizational and communication skills, knowledge and sensitivity to issues of IPV. Knowledge of criminal justice system.  3+ years counseling and supervisory experience.  Master’s Level degree, MSW preferred.  Send resume to JBWS at employment@jbws.org.

Special Events Associate

Temporary position up to 30 hours/week. 1-3 years’ experience in a non-profit, fundraising, special events environment.  Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.  Microsoft Office and Raiser’s Edge experience preferred.  Please send cover letter and resume to employment@jbws.org

Overnight Advocate in Safe HouseThis is an awake position. Every other Sunday 11:00 pm – Monday 7:30 AM.  Duties include helpline, security cameras, crisis intervention, and providing support to residential clients. BSW or related degree is required. Per diem positions in Safe House

including day, evening and overnight (awake position). Seeking per diem advocate to provide support and advocacy for residential clients. Responsibilities include helpline, crisis intervention, intake, assessment and security cameras. BSW or related degree is required. Include this code in subject line: RESCOUN

Student Internship Opportunities

JBWS utilizes between five and eight interns in several JBWS programs during the school year. In general, JBWS interns are first or second year master's level students in Social Work or Counseling. Most of the internships are for clinical positions and we sometimes have a need for administrative interns. All interns must complete a 40+ hours training program provided by JBWS. Prospective interns should work through their school internships programs.
