FT PROGRAM ASSOCIATE (Safe House) Full-time position Monday-Friday business hours. Duties include answering telephones, maintaining office supplies, responsible for agency mail, clerical tasks and administrative projects, answering the domestic violence helpline. Qualifications include: minimum of Associates degree or related education/experience. Candidate must have good interpersonal, time management, organizational skills, and telephone demeanor. HOURLY ACT BILINGUAL COUNSELOR
JBWS is seeking an hourly counselor to join a team of dedicated professionals to work with men in an abuse intervention program. This reliable, and flexible individual will be responsible for providing group counseling, intake sessions and ongoing support to perpetrators of domestic abuse. Licensed (LSW/LCSW or LAC/LPC) or license eligible preferred. Bilingual in Spanish required. Must be available Thursday evenings to facilitate group. STUDENT INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
JBWS utilizes between five and eight interns in several JBWS programs during the school year. In general, JBWS interns are first or second year master's level students in Social Work or Counseling. Most of the internships are for clinical positions and we sometimes have a need for administrative interns. All interns must complete a 40+ hours training program provided by JBWS. Prospective interns should work through their school internships programs.
